Fashion week is well under way in New York. It's all happening at the esteemed Lincoln Center where designers, celebrities, buyers, editors, and bloggers come together to view the latest collections from some of the top NY designers. Here's what we have so far:
Diane von Furstenberg
This is the perfect collection is for a girl on the go. Flirty dresses that graze the knee in graphic prints are perfect for the weekend, while a gold metallic stunner with a plunging neckline is a must for a night on the town. DVF even threw in a little something from the wild, wild west.
Design team Max and Lubov Azria debuted a neutral palette this season consisting mainly of browns, blacks, and grey, with a touch of tangerine thrown in to the mix. But the outerwear really stole the show. A double-breasted belted blazer worn over sheer hosiery and a mocha hued knee-length coat could work in anyone's closet.

Carolina Herrera
Herrera featured classic pieces that had a timeless elegance. Sheath dresses in varying colors, luxe furs, and red carpet ready gowns are some the items the designer sent down the runway. With the Oscars right around the corner, I'd be willing to bet that there will be an actress or two in one of these creations.
