LOOK WE LOVE: BLAKE LIVELY
Gossip Girl star Blake Lively hit up the Teen Choice Awards last night in this tangerine colored Gucci creation from the Resort 2012 collection. She finished her look with cheetah print Louboutins and dangly turquoise earrings. The rising actress chose the perfect summer hue and smart accessories to complement her outfit but her best addition was her megawatt smile.

LOOK WE LOVE: KERRY WASHINGTON

Kerry Washington is stunning in this color blocked Gucci creation she wore to the Mary J. Blige Honors Concert. Despite the fact that her dress dips daringly low in the front, Washington keeps it classy with bronze strappy heels, an oversized clutch, and a simple braided 'do. This outfit, part of the Spring 2011 collection, will be sure to turn heads.

Only one event draws the hottest musicians, actors, top designers, and supermodels year after year and that is the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. This year was no different as Rihanna, Kanye West, Jennifer Lopez, Karl Lagerfeld, and Naomi Campbell just to name a few, flocked to the red carpet. The theme was Savage Beauty named after the exhibit that pays homage to Alexander McQueen, the late designer best known for his exquisite tailoring and unconventional pieces.

OSCARS FASHION: THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY
The Good
The Bad
Reese Witherspoon wearing Armani Prive was disappointing. The dress was boring with an ill fitting bodice and her hair was a mess. The boxy shoulders were a no-no on Melissa Leo's Marc Bouwer creation and the cut out pattern made the Best Supporting Actress winner look like she was wearing a doily. Finally, Marisa Tomei dons a Charles James gown better suited for the prom than for the Oscars.
Mandy Moore looks ethereal in a nude Monique Lhuillier gown, Dame Helen Mirren, always classy and age-appropriate shines in Vivienne Westwood, and Jennifer Hudson shows off her new figure wearing a low-cut Versace frock. Michelle Williams is simple and elegant in sparkly Chanel, Halle Berry goes glam in strapless Marchesa with a tulle train, and Penelope Cruz is a sultry siren in red-hot L'wren Scott.

TRENDS AT THE GOLDEN GLOBES
The 2011 awards season is well under way. First up, the Golden Globes where the stars converged to showcase their designer duds. Sparkly gowns seemed to be a popular choice this year as celebs such as Scarlet Johansen, Angelina Jolie, and Olivia Wilde shimmered and shined while they made their way down the red carpet. I can't wait to see what's next for the Grammys.

PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS
The celebrities flocked to the People’s Choice Awards where Eminem and the Twilight Saga were the big winners of the night. But over on the blue carpet there were more winners and unfortunately, losers as well.

The Kardashian/Jenner sisters always look great and this night was no exception. Each of the siblings chose a figure flattering frock that showed off their personal style.

Though some of her past fashion choices have been questionable, Raven Symone was smoking hot in this sleek all black ensemble.

Actress Pauley Perrette (NCIS) is one smart cookie. The author and civil rights advocate studied criminal science before ending up in the entertainment industry. But while her message is a positive one, it has no business on the blue carpet.
