I'm usually not impressed with cheesy infomercials or products that you buy on TV.  So when I saw the commercial for "Space Saver Bags", the oversized Ziploc-looking bags that lets you vacuum out the air turning a heaping mess of bulky items (let's say chunky cable knit sweaters) into a neatly compressed pile, I didn't give it a second thought.

Until I recently had to pack for an extended trip to London and subconsciously tried to take everything I owned.  At the suggestion of my mother, I tried the Space Saver Bags and who knew they would actually come in handy.  My clothes weren't pancake flat like they show in the commercials on TV but it did create a little extra room in my over stuffed suitcase.

I am in no way endorsing this product or any other "as seen on TV" fads, but in this case I did get pretty good results.  Just see for yourself.

Well E (lol) on a scale from 1-10 I would give it a 7. They're pretty easy to use and they get the job done but in no way does your stuff come out as flat as it does on TV.
