It's hard to believe that Fashion Night Out started just 3 years ago and has now grown to include over one thousand stores and boutiques in New York and many more across the world.  There was pure madness in the streets of Manhattan as fans swarmed stores like Dolce and Gabbana and Dash in Soho hoping to get a glimpse of celeb participants Justin Beiber and Kim Kardashian.

My night commenced at the W Hotel in Times Square where I attended an exhibition entitled "Between Us: A Model's Life."  Shot by former model turned photog Annemarieke van Drimmelen, the series featured candid portraits of models Nimue Smit, Caroline de Maigret, and others.  I know what you're thinking- a model photographed by another model? But the images were surprisingly good, even (dare I say it) editorial worthy.

Spotted at the event were Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks, dressed in a modest green pantsuit and red pumps, former record executive and entrepreneur Kevin Liles, and singer Ciara.

I then braved the chaotic scene that was the meatpacking district to check out my favorite boutique, Diane Von Furstenberg.  But by the time Estilo arrived, the party was winding down.  There was nothing left at the bar but a little Vodka and Seltzer water!

Overall, Fashion's Night Out was definitely a success.  I can't wait to see what next year has in store.
