MY OBSESSION: PORTS 1961 WOODEN CLUTCH BAGS

On a recent and otherwise mundane shopping excursion on the Lower East Side of Manhattan I happened to come across two clutch bags that I have been obsessing over ever since.  At first glance I thought they were a couple of random pieces of wood, odd for a clothing store.  But upon closer inspection I discovered they were fully functioning clutch purses.  Who knew lumber could be so chic?

Selling for $895 for the larger size and $795 for the smaller pentagon at the Misha Nicole boutique on Bowery street in Manhattan, these bags are pricey but a worthy addition to any wardrobe.
